Schuyler National Honor Society Donation
Tuesday, November 13, the Schuyler National Honor Society donated seven hundred seventeen dollars and sixty cents to the Schuyler Cemetery Association to assist with the repairs needed for their chapel. They presented the money at the Schuyler Cemetery Association monthly meeting. The money was raised by holding a Burger Bash held at Didier’s on September 15th.
The National Honor Society is a group of students who show academic excellence, leadership, service, and character. The National Honor Society includes 33 students at the Schuyler Chapter. Mandy Yosten, Schuyler Central High School English teacher, is the sponsor for National Honor Society this year. Their goal was to reach one thousand dollars, but they didn’t meet their goal in September. The National Honor Society isn’t giving up. Schuyler National Honor Society have plans to help raise more money in the months to come.
