College Bound Night
Victor Garcia from Educationquest was here at Schuyler Central High School on Tuesday, November 20th. He assisted senior students who are wanting to go to college. Students were able to ask questions about financial aid and completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). There was an opportunity to work on resumes and scholarships also. Seven students and their parents were at the event. Almost all the students were working on resumes and scholarships. Others were working on FAFSA after visiting with Victor Garcia from EducationQuest. The opportunity for assistance was from 3:30 until 7:30. Students and their family members who attended also received a hot dog meal. Schuyler Central High School counselor Amy Johnson coordinated the event and the Educationquest College Access Grant assisted with the expenses.
