Schuyler Community Schools Field House reopens for 6-12th grade student only use.

The Schuyler Community Schools Field House was first opened back in Sept. 2016. Due to health concerns with Covid 19 it had to shut down in March of this year. Fortunately the Field House was recently open on Monday October 25th. Due to the pandemic, there has been a lot of changes. One of the changes is that now students have to get their temperature checked when they enter. Another change is that if students are not at school, because they are sick they will not be allowed in the field house. According to Erin Trotter, Field House Coordinator, “There is no capacity limit.” The only limit is that only students from 6-12th grade can attend. In order to deter the Covid spread every time someone is finished using equipment it has to be sanitized. Many people enjoy going to the Field House to play soccer, basketball, and other games. The Field House is open from Monday to Thursday from 6PM – 9PM, Saturdays from 9AM until 9PM, and on Sundays from 1PM – 9PM.
