Local business wins yearbook!
The Schuyler Central High School Yearbook class gave a 2017-2018 yearbook to Healy Agri Service. Each year a business wins a drawing for a yearbook competing with other businesses that donated money. They donate money for an advertisement in the back of the yearbook. The yearbook class also raises money with button sales, senior banners sales, and yearbook sales.
The yearbook staff has been awarding a yearbook to a business for over 7 years. Last year’s winner was Honest John’s Auto Sales. The yearbook class not only teaches students to be responsible, but students also learn photography and graphic design skills. Robbi McKenney, SCHS Yearbook Advisor, said ,”Within the last 4 years, I have watched students, who may not have fit in other areas of school activities, blossom in this class and become leaders.”
Some of the other businesses that donated were: American Family Insurance, CHI Health, Homestead Bank, Pinnacle Bank, Pederson Dental, and Reinecke Motor Company.
