Warrior Time and ACT Prep are a key tools for students to achieve success. Students are able to have one on one time with a teacher to help them with assignments they are struggling with. The times that are scheduled for Warrior Time are 3:10-4:00 on Fridays. During the Warrior Time, students can work on assignments, recover any tardy/absent time, listen to speakers and even have some lessons retaught. During Warrior Time, presenters will talk about ACT Test Prep and Study Skill, Specials/CTE, PE/Strength and Conditioning, Academic Core Curriculum, and College/Career Prep and Life Skills. “This allows time for students to have a safe and fun environment after school,” explained Dr. Joey Lefdal, SCHS Principal and Director of Student Services.

ACT Prep is Mondays and Thursdays at 6:30-7:30 pm in the Office Commons Area. Students will be able to prepare for the ACT. For the ACT prep, students are able to go in and work on “On To College”. “On To College” is a website that helps to train and prepare students for the ACT. Students can also complete online classes in APEX, to prepare for the ACT. This allows students to really prepare themselves so that they can really improve their scores from the past years.
